Who/What is Back to Back to the Island?
- Back to Back to the Island is a twitter account started by two fans of the podcast. It's primarily about the podcast and the two hosts. We run it! It's fun!
What is this money for?
- One of the owners of the Twitter account is involved with fundraising for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and runs races through Team in Training which supports LLS. She's already run half-marathons and a full marathon, and raised over $16,000 in previous events, but now she's training for her biggest event ever: The Dopey Challenge at Walt Disney World in January of 2016! The Dopey Challenge is a series of 4 races over 4 days. 5k - Thursday, 10k - Friday, Half Marathon - Saturday, Full Marathon - Sunday. That's 48.6 miles of running over 4 days! Along with this enormous physical goal, she has also set herself an enormous financial goal. This time she's trying to raise $10,000 on her own, and a total of $100,000 with her team to earn a research grant in the names of some of the people she's lost to Leukemia.

Why should I care?
- You don't have to! But I thought it would be nice to know that the money's going to a good cause.
Do Jeff and Chris know about this?
- They do! I made them both a set of shirts when we saw them play recently and asked them about doing this as a fundraiser. They both gave me their blessing and now here we are!
What kind of shirts are these?
- The shirts I'm using are plain Hanes brand t-shirts. You can find them at Target if you want to check your size. I'm using these because they're readily available and cost effective, but don't feel like cheap t-shirts. I've been wearing my own Back to the Island shirt. It's pretty comfortable.
Do you offer other sizes/styles?
- Not right now, but maybe in the future? This is still new to me so I'm trying to work out the best way of doing this all on my own. Of course I'd like to accommodate everyone, but that might not be possible.
How are the shirts made?
- All of these shirts are made by me, by hand. I take a t-shirt, put the stencil on top, mask it off with plastic and tape, and spray paint it. That's it. These are just like those cool DIY punk shirts you used to get at the Bomb the Music Industry! shows, or that you made at home.
How do I care for it?
- Because they're spray painted and not screen printed the design will fade in the wash initially, but should hold up fairly well over time, just be sure to turn it inside out before washing/drying to help protect the image. If you're worried about it fading too much, hand wash it and hang it dry.
How are these mailed?
- The shirts will be shipped USPS Priority. I'll let you know when your order ships and provide you with a tracking number.
Do you ship internationally?
- I would like to! But I'm still working out the pricing. If you live outside the U.S. and you're interested in one or both of these shirts send us a tweet or an e-mail through the contact form. I'll work with you to see what we can do!
